Is it time to refinish your kitchen cabinets?
Kitchen remodeling is often the most expensive home improvement project. The cabinets usually cover the most visual real estate in the kitchen. New cabinets are nice but in many cases it can be a waste of money. There are other options that get the same result. Kitchen cabinet refinishing is one option that homeowners should investigate. Refinishing can be done with a solid paint color or stain. Your existing cabinetry can be transformed to a totally different color of your choice. The new finish is indistinguishable from the finish of that in a factory.
Our cabinet painters are specialized. Cabinet painting is all they do for our company so their skills stay sharp. If your cabinets are looking a little dated but still in good shape then bring them back to life with us, call: (262) 404-4480. We are Milwaukee’s cabinet painting and cabinet refinishing experts.
Our Kitchen Cabinet Painting Process
See how our cabinet painters get it done! Methods may vary slightly.
“I highly recommend Premier Cabinet Painting if you want a fresh look with a fraction of the expense of cabinet replacement. I had them paint the 15 year old oak cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms and it looks like I have new rooms! From my first phone conversation with Leah to the moment they completed the work the experience was great. Kevin was very professional, meticulous and so very considerate of keeping the work area protected and clean. I am so happy I hired them! Thank you so much for exceeding my expectations!”

“The entire experience from our first phone call with Leah to Gary coming out and taping off our kitchen was just so professional! The cabinets came out beautiful! They were a shiny awful stain and we chose a soft grey that made such a difference in our redesign! Could not be happier with the outcome! Gary was just a joy and explained the process completely, showing us his samples before he started was really reassuring. Leah kept us up on how things were going while the painting was being done at the shop! Just a great process all the way!!!”

Things To Consider:
Cabinet Hardware and Hinges
It’s amazing what new handles or knobs can do to your kitchen cabinets. If you do not have any hardware on your cabinets you might want to consider doing this or changing the existing hardware. Also, now is the time to swap out your old hinges to soft closing. We can even change exposed hinges for concealed ones.
Would you like a distressed look to your cabinets? Cabinet glazing is a process that makes your cabinets look distressed. If distressed isn’t your look then how about a pinstripe glaze that outlines the groves of your cabinets to make your doors have a more traditional look. Both of these processes are explained further in our blog article.
Refacing Kitchen Cabinets
If changing the color of your cabinets just isn’t enough then cabinet refacing might do the trick. Our cabinet refacing process involves getting you all brand new cabinet doors in the color and style of your choosing. White shaker style cabinet doors have defiantly been the most popular in recent years. We then refinish the cabinet frames or boxes that remain in the kitchen to match the new door color. The cost of refacing is a more than the cost of painting cabinets but in the end you get brand new cabinet doors. The cost of all newly installed cabinets still towers the price of refacing cabinets by 2-3x.
